Filter Breakthrough Indicators

Chemteq Filter Breakthrough Indicators are a reliable and cost-effective means for protection from exposure to toxic chemicals. They are easy to use; simply attach the Breakthrough Indicator to the outlet of the filter. Available in different sizes, these indicators provide real-time monitoring of filter status. They operate at temperatures of 4°C to 32°C (39°F to 89.6°F) and humidities of 5% RH to 85% RH. Each indicator is 0.12” thick and 0.75” in diameter.

Because of their unique design, breakthrough indicators do not change color due to exposure to contaminants from the surrounding environment; they change color only when the filter is saturated. Depending on the application, the breakthrough indicators have a service life of between one and two years, plus a shelf life of between one and two years. They are available for a wide range of chemical hazards.
